SATURDAY.

Went to school at 6 AM for marching.

Came home at noon.

In the evening,

she mopped my house,

 the whole 2 floors!

And after dinner,

she made muffins.

Then decided to have a pyjama tea-party.

Waited until her little brother has gone to bed.

And invited her sister and grandma to the party.

Unfortunately, her little brother sneaked downstairs.

He wanted to join the tea-party.

The sisters said NO!

He threw himself at Grandma's mercy.

And Grandma said,

"Let him stay"

Happy he got his way.

Morning at the Polo Ground in Ipoh.

Black Sesame Pau, Pumpkin Pau, Vegetable Pau

My sister-in-law introduced me to a really quaint kopitiam, newly opened in the old town section of Ipoh. It has the usual local breakfast stuff. Nothing special, except for the pau, which tasted very homemade. I like the vegetable pau. The special feature of this kopitiam is that at the back of the shop, there are 2 separate enclosures which can accommodate 2 kopitiam tables. It is open air and has a garden theme. Lovely. And at the moment, price is still reasonable.

CAFE DE ARK

Discovered a cafe run by a pastor.

I understand that the profits go to help orphans and a street ministry. Unfortunately, I was too busy eating the food to take any photos. But I can tell you this: the walnut pie is to die for.

And price is reasonable.
